Project: Family Reference Guide

Overview: Create a mobile-friendly reference guide for families to empower them to advocate for themselves and provide information on disease pathology, symptoms, treatments, legal rights, and more.

Challenge: Convey complex medical information in simple language that families can understand that doesn't overwhelm them.

Solution: Created a short, easy-to-navigate guide that allows families the flexibility to access the amount of information they need, using straightforward language and relatable analogies to convey complex scientific concepts.

Tools: Canva and Genially

Project Extension: As part of the Tess Research Foundation's social media campaign for Rare Disease Month, a 5-touch version of the reference guide was created.

Client: Fictitious Confectioner Company

Project: On-the-job reference guide as a job aid to complement their e-learning training.

Overview: Provide new confectioners with an in-the-moment reference guide to ensure that the signature candy is made consistently.

Challenge: Convey on-the-spot answers for confectioners to ensure that the candy is made perfectly every time.

Solution: Created a one-page reference guide that can be kept at their workstation and easily accessed for quick answers during production.
